singer/songwriter David Llewellyn incorporates his
lyrical musical heritage into his contemporary
acoustic compositions. Llewellyn’s songs are
simply stated, yet evocative. Strong melodies
contrast the subtle shadings of David's adept vocal
style.
David’s writing paints emotional landscapes
interlaced with strands of regret, gratitude, love,
denial, sorrow and joy. All songs are written or
co-written by David, with the exception of an
opening Patty Griffin composition and a soulful
Welsh love song, dating back to the 1700’s for
which David penned additional English lyrics
