Gary has had a short but
exciting career. Gary has had the honor of opening
for Bobby Blue Bland, Texas Johnny Brown, Gatemouth
Brown, Jimmie Vaughan and Joe Ely. He has played
with many well-known musicians including Hubert
Sumlin, Pinetop Perkins, Lazy Lester, Chris Layton,
Tommy Shannon, James Cotton, and Calvin Jones.
The February 2004
issue of Brilliant Magazine listed Gary as one of
the Top 100 Singles in Texas. The magazine decribes
those on the list as "some of the most
gorgeous, interesting and talked-about Texans."
Others on the list include Norah Jones and Renee
Zellweger.
Gary was voted
Austin's Best Blues Musician in the 2004 Austin
Music Awards. He also made the list of the top 20
electric guitarists
