Jim
Bizer has been making music and writing songs for as
long as he can remember. He started his professional
career at age 14; he has performed literally
thousands of times, mostly around the midwest and
his native Detroit. Combining a vast musical
knowledge and thoughtful, sometimes quirky, lyrical
ideas, he concocts an alchemy of contemporary folk
with an impressive breadth of style and expression.
He knows his way around a fretboard and he knows his
way into the hearts and minds of his audience. With
a comfortable rapport and an intimate delivery, he
is equally at home in the house concert or the
festival stage.
