Miss
Nessie & the Ear Food Orchestra, based in San
Antonio, Texas, have been playing blues, zydeco,
rock 'n' roll, New Orleans-beat and even a touch of
Cajun music, for 20 years. Originally a
party-rock band, the EFO now fuses a good time/big
fun attitude with music that runs the gamut from
deep blues to syncopated, accordion-powered, South
Louisiana-inspired zydecom, from original, quirky
rock 'n' roll to New Orleans, groove-oriented second
line beats, from the occasional Cajun waltz to
rave-up Gospel.
