Below is a chart listing the tickets
and daily prices that are available for the 2008 Kerrville
Folk Festival. The prices listed are full, gate prices.
If you purchase your tickets in advance of the festival
(prior to May 22),
you will receive a 20% to 30% discount off the daily prices
listed below!
Advance Discounts expire at midnight on May 21
After this
date, you
may still purchase your tickets on-line (below), or you may
purchase at the gate. Plenty of tickets will be available
for all festival days. After May 21, all daily ticket
prices will be the same
if purchased on-line or at the gate.

during business hours Monday through Friday.
$3 will be added for all phone orders.
Advance Discounts
Instead of the canned multi-day packages we
have offered in the past, Advance Discounts will be based on
the total number of tickets you order. Simply select the
number of tickets you wish to buy for each festival day you
wish to attend, and your discount will be automatically
applied to your order based on the following:
Buy 1 to 5 tickets in any combination - 20%
off the ticket prices listed
Buy 6 to 12 tickets in any combination -
25% off the ticket prices listed
Buy 13 or more tickets in any combination -
30% off the ticket prices listed
advance discounts only apply to
daily festival tickets. They do not apply to workshop
registration fees, camping, vehicle, or parking fees.
Service Charge
Structure: The only service charges that would be
added to your ticket order would be for telephone orders (add
$3) or if you request that tickets be mailed to you (add $3).
PARKING FEES!
Starting in 2007 we began a daily charge
for vehicle parking in our parking lots. The charge is
$3 per vehicle per day ($3 parking permits are good
until noon the following day). All parking
charges are payable at the gate.
Why are we charging for
parking? In 2006, our friend and neighbor Doc Horton passed away. We had
been using a chunk of Doc’s land as our parking lot. Instead of losing the
property (and subsequently our parking lot) to developers, a group of festival
friends decided to purchase this piece of property. In doing so, the festival
agreed to assume a portion of the financial burden as well as to pay for
improvements to the lot in the form of lighting, road stabilization, etc. The
parking fees will be directed toward these expenses. We realize that this may
be an unpopular policy, but given the alternative of not having places to park,
we had no alternative. We trust and hope that most of you will understand.
Campground Access
Prior to 6 PM each day you may enter the campgrounds by
showing a festival ticket for that day or by flashing a valid
wristband.
You MUST have festival tickets and/or a wristband in order to
enter the campgrounds during the festival. After 6 PM
each evening, you must be wearing a wristband. You may
purchase a wristband for an additional $5 per day (on top of
the ticket price) at the festival ticket booth.
Wristbands may also be purchased in the Main Stage theater
during evening concerts.
EXCEPTION:
If you present or purchase tickets for three
or more consecutive days, then tent camping fees are WAIVED
and you will be provided with a wristband at no additional
charge.

below are subject to change at any time. Prices listed
include sales tax.
